Protect your account
Each colleague should use their own account. Personal credentials and security checks protect both access and the reliability of the activity history.

Who this is for
All users.
Before you begin
Use your own verified email and keep access to it. Do not send passwords or security codes to anyone.
1Maintain your identity and security
- Open Account and check your name and email details. Use the offered account controls to update them and complete any verification requested.
- Open Security where available. Follow the displayed steps to enable the offered additional protection and confirm setup with the required code.
- Save any recovery information privately before leaving the setup. Do not store it in station notes or a shared screenshot.
- On a shared workstation, sign out when finished. On a phone, use the available device lock and application security options.
Your own identity is associated with your actions and the protection you enabled is confirmed.
2Recover access or report a concern
- Use Forgot password from the sign-in page if you no longer know your password. Open the latest reset email and follow its link.
- If a code fails, check the account, expiry and device time. Use an available recovery method rather than another employee’s account.
- If a device is lost or access seems compromised, contact your organization owner promptly so they can review access. Change your credentials using a trusted device.
- Tell support the account email, approximate time and visible error. Never include passwords, recovery codes or customer records unrelated to the problem.
Recovery follows your own account and a concern reaches someone able to act.
A practical example
A manager leaves the company. The owner removes their membership and assigns work to another named user; the replacement does not inherit the former manager’s password.
If something goes wrong
My personal account works but the organization does not open
Account sign-in and organization access are different. Ask the owner to verify your membership and the organization’s access status.
An extra verification screen appears
Complete it with your own method. Do not ask a colleague to share their code.
