STOCK & DELIVERIES

Fuel stock management: track tanks and deliveries together.

A falling tank level, an expected delivery, a quantity to check: fuel stock needs more than one isolated number. FuelOps connects your tanks, received fuel and recorded station activity.

Know what each quantity represents

A tank level, a delivered quantity and a sold quantity serve different purposes. Reliable stock management starts with the tank, product, units and date. A late entry or delivery assigned to the wrong tank can distort your view of the business.

Configure tanks and their relationship to dispensers in FuelOps, then record deliveries and operations. The resulting information helps you reconcile movements. It depends on timely, accurate entries and does not replace physical checks.

Make supply decisions from shared records

A low-stock alert helps identify a tank that needs attention. Review recorded levels and deliveries before speaking to your supplier. Managers and staff can refer to the same information within their permitted access.

Retain a record of receipts and use available stock reports to discuss a discrepancy or replenishment need. The benefit is a better-informed decision. FuelOps does not guarantee that shortages cannot happen and does not automatically order fuel for you.

PRACTICAL SCENARIO

Put the delivery in the right tank

A station receives diesel while another tank holds petrol. A single site-wide delivery total is not enough. The manager checks the product, receiving tank and quantity, then reviews that tank's movements. This is an example of an operational workflow, not automated equipment control.

A method for your team

  1. 01

    Map the installation

Identify tanks, products, dispensers and units. Verify which tank serves each piece of equipment before starting operations.

  2. 02

    Record the receipt

For each delivery, enter the quantity and receiving tank. Check consistency with delivery documents.

  3. 03

    Review recorded levels

Consult stock and available alerts. Check how current the records are before deciding to replenish.
