CREDIT & COLLECTION
Fuel station customer credit: know who owes what.
A credit sale adds to sales but is not yet a cash collection. FuelOps helps you retrieve each account, recorded payments and the amount still owed.
No card · One station · 20 users · 500 active credit accounts
Keep sales separate from available cash
A fleet or business customer may buy fuel today and pay later. Without account-level tracking, total sales can look healthy while available cash tells a different story. Separating credit sales from received payments is an essential management step.
FuelOps brings credit sales, balances and payments into customer accounts. Available due dates and receivable aging help identify accounts to review. Retained history gives you supporting transactions for a customer conversation rather than an unexplained total.
Verify the balance before following up
Check recorded sales and payments before contacting a customer. A received payment that has not been entered changes the purpose of the conversation. FuelOps allocates payments through the available mechanism and provides account information and in-app alerts.
New agreements include 500 active credit accounts per station, pooled across the organization. Archiving an account as inactive frees capacity without deleting its balance or history. Suspended and blocked accounts still count. Reactivation requires an available place.
PRACTICAL SCENARIO
A customer pays part of the balance
A customer owes 100,000 FCFA and pays 40,000 FCFA. In this simplified example, the remaining balance is 60,000 FCFA. The manager records the payment and reviews transactions before the next collection conversation. These are illustrative figures, not a collection result achieved by FuelOps.
