Record and reconcile bank deposits
A bank deposit records money placed into a bank account. Reconciliation links it to eligible cash handovers, preventing cash movement from being mistaken for additional revenue. FuelOps does not physically deposit the money for you.

Who this is for
Authorized finance and management users.
Before you begin
Have the deposit slip/statement, bank reference, date, amount and station/source context.
1Record a deposit
- Open Bank deposits and the creation action. Enter the actual deposit information and reference required by the screen.
- Check date and amount against the bank document, then save once.
- Open the deposit and inspect its total, allocated amount and remaining amount before matching.
The bank event exists as a separate supported record.
2Match the deposit to cash
- Choose the relevant period/station and inspect eligible handovers.
- Select the handover and amount genuinely included in the deposit. A deposit can require several justified allocations; do not exceed either available balance.
- Save and verify allocated and unmatched balances on both sides.
- If a matching allocation was wrong, use the authorized void/unmatch action with its reason. Distinguish undoing a match from deleting the actual bank deposit.
The same cash can be followed from handover to bank without duplication.
A practical example
Two received handovers of 150,000 FCFA can fund one 300,000 deposit. Two allocations of 150,000 explain it; recording two extra deposits would double the bank movement.
If something goes wrong
The handover is not eligible
Check its station, receipt state, date and remaining amount. Complete missing legitimate steps before matching.
The bank amount differs
Keep the unmatched balance and investigate fees, omissions or separate deposits using documents. Do not alter the source handover to force a match.
