Create a station and its tanks

A station contains tanks, pumps and nozzles. Set up the physical layout accurately before the first shift. The station wizard creates the station, tanks and opening prices; pumps are configured afterwards from station details.

Who this is for

Owner or a user whose role exposes station setup.

Before you begin

Gather station name, location, contact number, tank fuel grades and capacities, and the authorized opening selling prices.

1Complete the station wizard

  1. Open Stations and choose Add station. Enter the station name and location, with a contact number if used.
  2. Continue to tanks. Add each tank with the actual fuel grade and capacity in litres. Capacity is its maximum size, not the quantity currently inside.
  3. Continue to prices. Enter the price per litre for each fuel grade used at the station, in the unit displayed by the form.
  4. Review every entry and confirm once. Wait for the station detail page and check the tanks and prices before continuing to pump setup.
What you should see

The station, tanks and prices are saved as a consistent setup.

2Keep station details current

  1. Open the station to review prices, levels and equipment. Use Edit for contact/location information, including GPS coordinates when appropriate.
  2. Add or edit a tank only after checking its physical identity, product and existing stock records. Do not repurpose an active tank to hide a stock difference.
  3. Before deactivating a station or deleting equipment, settle open operations and follow the confirmation shown. Historical records remain important for reporting.
  4. If the subscription station allowance prevents creation, the owner resolves capacity through Billing or support. Do not reuse another station’s records.
What you should see

The digital layout continues to match the actual site.

A practical example

A 30,000 L tank holding 12,000 L is configured with capacity 30,000 L. Establish its opening quantity and value through the opening-stock workflow; do not enter 12,000 as its capacity.

If something goes wrong

Creation fails at the final step

Check every required field, numeric limits shown and station entitlement. Inspect the station list before retrying.

Wrong fuel grade or tank

Stop entering affected operations and have an authorized manager review the equipment mapping and existing records.
